Parenting Clash: At-Home Discussion Guide
Almost all parents have some sort of clash(es) between ideas and experiences when it comes to parenting.

These questions have been constructed by Nicole Reid, a therapist who specializes in relationships within the family formation years, to help you thoughtfully uncover insights, goals, and areas of change within your parenting partnership.

Use this guide to answer each question individually and then discuss together.

1. Where have you learned about parenting (i.e. your own caregivers, articles, books, religion, social media, friends etc.)?

2. What about your own upbringing would you like to carry forward into your parenting approach?

3. What about your own upbringing would you like to leave out of your parenting approach?
